A Man On A Mission

Bishop Neil C. Ellis is a transformative leader whose impact reaches beyond communities of faith to the global stage. A firebrand, prodigy, and visionary, his influence is fueled by God-given wisdom, touching lives across the world. His legacy, rooted in vision, purpose, and promise, extends far beyond the pulpit, affecting the highest levels of business, politics, entertainment, and ministry. A preacher, prophet, and strategist, Bishop Ellis’s voice resonates with authority, guiding leaders across all sectors to fuller purpose and integrity.

The Call To Serve

Bishop Ellis’s journey is one of unwavering faith and divine purpose, beginning with humble roots in Bimini, Bahamas. As the seventh child in his family, he was raised in an environment that nurtured his natural gifts. His speaking ability, recognized early by the late Bahamas Prime Minister Sir Lynden O. Pindling, set the stage for a life of leadership. During his tertiary studies, his leadership skills became clear as he was elected president of the College of the Bahamas Union of Students. His entrepreneurial spirit also emerged early, leading him to become general manager of a fast-food chain at 19, eventually expanding it to two locations. Though thriving in business, a higher calling led him to leave the marketplace for the ministry.

In 1987, alongside his wife of three years, he founded Mount Tabor Church with just 11 members. That humble gathering has since grown into a globally recognized ministry. Mount Tabor’s reach expanded with the launch of Mount Tabor Anywhere—an internet-based church community that broke digital ground. For 29 consecutive years, Bishop Ellis’s voice has reached thousands weekly through television, radio, and web platforms, with messages marked by power, clarity, and revelation. His consistent walk of faith has established him as a pioneer whose impact continues to touch lives around the world.

Global Impact & Recognition

Bishop Ellis’s influence extends far beyond local ministry. He is the founding visionary of Global United Fellowship (GUF), a worldwide ecclesiastical body spanning over 40 countries and 1,400+ churches. Under his leadership, GUF became a global force for spiritual transformation and generational change. Beyond the pulpit, Bishop Ellis is a respected business leader, mentor to entrepreneurs, and advisor to political figures and Fortune 500 CEOs. His unmistakable preaching style has echoed across the United States, the Caribbean, Africa, Israel, Greece, and Europe—earning him numerous honors, including the Commander of the Order of St. Michael and St. George (CMG) from Queen Elizabeth II, the Trumpet Award for Spiritual Enlightenment, and induction into the International Civil Rights Walk of Fame as its youngest living honoree. His song Don’t Do It Without Me also earned a Dove Award nomination in 2010.

None of this would be possible without the steadfast support of his wife, Patrice M. Ellis. Along with their children, Johnathan and Ranechea, the Ellises have built a lasting legacy of service. Patrice, a Certified International Business Etiquette & Cross-Cultural Specialist, is known for empowering women and children through her books and workshops. As founder of The Etiquette & Image Institute, she has impacted corporate and personal development globally, reinforcing the Ellis family’s commitment to growth and transformation across generations.
